1. Sahastradhara

Sahastradhara is in the top position. It is a natural spring water flow that has
sulfur content in water which is best to treat skin diseases. It is about 12 km from
the Clock Tower of Dehradun. Sahastradhara means the combination of thousands
of small springs that come comes from various nearby hills and makes river
type.
It is the most popular tourist place
in Dehradun where every year thousands of tourists come here. Local and nearby

do bathing, swimming, and trekking. For Sahastradhara direct city bus is

on the Haridwar-Rishikesh Road near the Doiwala under the flyover. It is about
17 km far away from the Dehradun railway station. You can reach there directly
by Dehradun city bus, Vikram and Auto. Using your vehicle will be more
convenient for you.

3. Robber's Cave

water body. Robber's cave is actually a river cave where you can see a small
waterfall also. Local or nearby peoples come here during summers on weekends to
celebrate picnic here with their loving ones. Gucchu Pani has low-level flowing
water that can touch up to your knee only during summer. It is full of natural

5. Asan Barrage
Asan Barrage is not much popular

the picnic here. It is situated near the Yamuna River and Asan River that is
about 11 km from the 28 km from Dehradun city. This barrage is located at
the border of Himachal Pradesh and Dehradun District. This place is famous for
bird watching, here you can see lots of migratory birds that attract animal lovers.

paddle boating, and motor boating. You can go there via the Dehradun Ponta Sahib Bus

hilltop. This temple is situated near the Nun River. If you come here you can
see that peoples are preparing food and snacks on the riversides and enjoying a picnic with friends. This area is also beautiful and full of mesmerizing
scenes. Here you can do trekking and can see the Mussoorie hills from here.
Devotees of Maa Santala come here for wish fulfillment. After a wish fulfilled by Maa Santala, devotees offer
small animals like Cock, Goat to Maa Santala. Then they cut these animals near
the riverside area and eat them with family and friends. There is no direct bus
available for Santala Devi temple you have to take your own vehicle or book a cab.
