Bhootnath Mandir Lucknow is a
very famous local temple of Bhootnath market, HAL, Indira Nagar, and nearby
area. Mainly in the Bhootnath Mandir, Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman worshiped.
There are other God and Goddess idols also inside the temple like Mata Parwati,
Ganesha Ji, Maa Kaali, etc. This temple also called Baba Bhootnath Mandir
because Baba Bhootnath built this temple who was lived here.
Due to the popularity of this
temple, this area is called Bhootnaath and nearby marked called Bhoothnath
market. It is overcrowded during the festivals like Mahashivratri, Ramnavami,
Navratri, Hanuman Jayanti, etc. It is situated about 500 meters far from the
main Faizabad road of Lucknow opposite the HAL campus.
Bhootnath temple is situated in
the center of the main building of the Bhootnath market. Temple is three storey
beautiful building. There are lots of statues of Gods carved on the temple
building just above the main gate of the temple.

It is not a historical temple but
at least it would be 70 years old temple that is popular among the local
devotees. The accurate date of this temple construction is not known. Any legends about this temple are not so

As per the saying of temple
priests, this temple was established by the Baba Bhootnath during the 1950s.
There are also lots of photos and statues of Baba Bhootnath inside the temple
that anyone can see.
